stupid simply small business 'housekeeping' tools - open source. people could setup tools, create a dashboard, setup recurring actions, notices, invoice tracking, tax calculations, etc. <I've exceeded 4 hrs I guess>
I would venture to estimate many of the fake accounts have few friends but many thousands of likes to products and services. These are not users you want to include in your advertising campaign, but inevitably do.

agreed. from the client's perspective, they are underwater (can't pay now), then after a few weeks of late fees (10% of total), they are REALLY underwater.
How about escrow or a payment plan. That would be a good payment service to offer clients.
Client needs to place 100% of the money in escrow. eLance is great for this, but their cut is too dear for some projects. Freelancers need to establish a no-fee escrow service, of 0.05% fee to cover the cost of the third party escrow. Why don't we have out own escrow service for freelancers?
Not domestic at all. Were those responsible for the tube and bus bombings not immigrants with training elsewhere? Hardly domestic in the sense that 9/11 was domestic.
Norway's atrocity was a committed by a lone wolf. The only connection is that he was a fundamentalist, in the same way the American ultra-right party and the Taliban are. That is the global threat to open democracies, now and in the future.
The blog post seems link bait-y in that the 'lessons learned from a failure' really is an existing company, with capital I presume, raising 80% of the funds - not a failure. Certainly BlankLabel could ante up the remaining 18k. In terms of their goal to gauge demand, possibly timing was off, so if you consider they raised 80% for a women's work shirt during the heat waves of the summer of '12, they should consider this product line as having a reasonably high probability for a return on investment. The product line in question would be suitable for spring, summer through fall.
Is this a dream come true for an aspiring CEO (resurrect an a-list tech company), or was she the 7th person to be offered the job, except she said 'yes'?
you should make dates with prospective friends. we fall in love a little with guy friends, so instead of the outcome being 'let's explore a romantic chemistry' it is 'let's explore a friendship chemistry', but the mechanics are the same: one on one meetup with a stranger.
