I tried installing Steam on Linux Mint but it fails to load. What's the point of all this work if you can't even get Steam to load on the most popular distro of all time?

He is not being rude but rather blunt. Bitter medicine. You fail at socialization and blame the world. You never blame yourself and your negative attitude. You never progress and choose to simply isolate yourself instead of difficult and challenging self-improvement.
