Yes! I remember installing the leaked version before the official launch and being really impressed on how fast it was. The UI was also a welcome change. But over time they've added so many unwanted features. It just feels so bloated and slower than chrome now.

At LinkedIn, we are focusing our efforts on advanced automation to enable a seamless, LinkedIn-wide migration from Rest.li to gRPC. gRPC will offer better performance, support for more programming languages, streaming, and a robust open source community. There is no active development at LinkedIn on new features for Rest.li. The repository will also be deprecated soon once we have migrated services to use gRPC. This seems region specific. I tried searching for "chrome" on bing, in incognito with uBlock Origin turned off and all I got was a banner at the top of the search results asking me to try edge, all links below that were pages related to chrome. I'm in India.

Couldn't agree more. My last job was in a large organization, cubicles everywhere and almost quiet all the time. The current one is an open office, noise all the time. Overall, I dislike both of them, and just like you said, could use a combination of best aspects of both.
