Can anyone explain the benefit of glom instead of pandas dataframes? For data manipulation pandas is superior in everyway to any library out there. The only thing i think glom would be useful is json parsing as was shown.
Sorry if I sound a bit too harsh. I'm looking at it from a data science pov.
This is not just because of traffic, but to get the original story. There have been plenty of times where the story was changed and edited after the initial post.
I've already switched my browsers to Firefox Nightly and Brave, search engines to DuckDuckGo. Only my gmail and android remain. Time to switch. I remember a time when the holy grail of IT was working at Goolag.. sorry Google. Now, I'm not even interested in them anymore.
Some of the loudest people crying "racist, sexist, misogynistic!" are the ones who haven't actually read it. Or journalists who deliberately (or out of ignorance) took things out of context and misrepresented it.
Memo Tl;Dr: He actually claims that we should treat each other as individuals instead of some group based on an arbitrary characteristic (such as race, gender etc.) and adjust hiring/recruiting as such.
I believe the majority of people haven't actually READ the memo and just form their opinion based on what different websites tell them. It was actually hard to find the actual memo. Everyone is talking about it, but almost no article linked to it.
So if people that were appointed to these positions had a blue tie, that would somehow make them "not wealthy people who don't belong to a higher income bracket than the vast majority of America" ?
He's withdrawing from the PCA and looking to renegotiate under different terms. To sum it up, the PCA is basically trying to get tax payer money from western countries to fund solar and wind for the third world. The costs will be astronomical compared to free-enterprise and the rest is going to be split among the African warlords. If the aim would really be to save the earth, they should have no problem with the renegotiation and also - the green energy would be built in western countries, also providing jobs.
