Am I the only one who thinks that Hyperloop will result in a massive fatal accident?
Quite everything does, and if you take the many ‘non-massive’ fatal accidents of modern roads together, you get one uber-massive fatal accident – so it might well be worth risking one ‘massive fatal accident’ if it avoids 500 smaller ones.
I believe people said the same thing about the Channel Tunnel, and it all seems to have worked out fine.
Do risks make something not worth doing? If it was the case, we wouldnt have airplanes because they can cause a fatal accidents. NASA wouldn't have attempted any shuttle launches because that can and has caused fatal accidents. Medicines can cause fatal accidents. DRIVING can cause fatal accidents. So would you rather sit at home in fear or attempt to do amazing things after doing everything you can to make them as safe as possible.
This man is pre-reporting news. Wasn't that a bond movie?
Wish I'd thought of that. You win the internet!
