After 3 years of quantum-guided molecular assembly research, we're unveiling plans for ASCENSUS-1, the world's first commercially viable space elevator. Our nanotube ribbon (73.5 GPa tensile strength) will eliminate the need for rocket fuel while providing 5-day ascents to geosynchronous orbit.

Excuse me I want to pitch alternative idea: has anyone considered launch by a whip? Seriously, the tip can easily go supersonic without special materials. So if you made it bigger and with nanotubes, it might be even able to reach orbital velocities.

I absolutely LOVE the wildness of this idea - whiplash yourself to space!
