From the top comments it seems like we're skipping the fact that the guy has automatic updates turned off and it's pulling down and execing arbitrary code anyway.
Appreciate it the response- for me it's a bit personal because I spent a decade of my life trying in vain to love SFBA, and I wish that I could have information on the true experience from the hacker community.
