Check out the Noto Sans CJK fonts repo[1], as of now it has five variations: Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Hong Kong. There wouldn't be a need for so many variations if Unicode works perfectly.
But Unicode is already infinitely better than what existed before, so as I said above, we just kind of accept it begrudgingly.
Is there a way to push data into it, rather than have it pull data from data sources? I have some use cases where users want <3s latency from source data updates to the display being refreshed. For reference, I managed to get to ~10s using Google Sheets' API.
The transmission tunnel indeed is an issue, but they do use it as additional space for batteries to make the seating position a bit better for the rear left/right passengers.
The XC40 was in the middle of a refresh which might explain the waiting time. Availability should be much better now, and MY24 has some really nice upgrades.
Interesting. Here in Hong Kong, apparently the non-Tesla chargers work so well, the Superchargers often lie empty because most Teslas charge at non-Tesla chargers as they are usually cheaper.
Living in Hong Kong, I'll tell you what's loud: the constant remodelling, both in apartment and office buildings. Try working in an office where someone is trying to drill 50 holes into a concrete wall next door.

Agreed, for me also a light theme, with the screen's brightness turned way down (I prefer 10%, sometimes even lower). The room itself should also be neither too bright nor too dark.

Accommodation and food prices seemed to be roughly around the same as before, but I did note some bottled soft drinks seemed to come in smaller sizes than before (450ml vs 500ml).
Checking my notes again just now, I did see the Nest Mini 2nd Gen for ¥2980, but that seems to be part of a Christmas promotion going on, so not a useful data point.
I just came back from Tokyo. Everything seems cheap right now, especially food, but prices are starting to rise. For example Uniqlo has announced they will raise prices by quite a bit next year.
Imported goods have been adjusted already. Regular unleaded petrol is around 170 yen per litre around Tokyo.
Is it really scalable? Every time the local McDonald's have some cross-promotion going on with a certain boy band (for example this week's collectable cards), their app's backend always crash right at 11am when the promotion starts.
The seminal HK show about the stock market would be The Greed of Man (大時代) [1]. It's 30 years old, but classic scenes in it are still used in memes even today.

I guess this is US only? The site is horribly broken upon loading. Only after using developer tools I discovered that all scripts and assets return 403 - CloudFront configured to block your country.
