Their Tor have issues as i understand it.. eg redirecting to clearnet anf Old version and requiring phone number. But they say vpn would have solved it…

I found a walk in Nature on the day after a changa(DMT+Harmala) was greatly enhanced. Somehow i would notise the leaves more like having better vision. Perhaps being more in the moment have to do with it.
Spend my evening going down the rabbit hole and trying to see what you have been up to for a few decades and seems your are pretty spot on and pretty informed on many things. But some of the things I stumble on also seems incoherent and perhaps that’s because you can fill in the blanks in your head but don’t write it or because you deliberately make it hard to decipher. If all you have said is true it’s quite impressive what you have seen over the years but I can also see that it can be hard to believe the way it’s communicated. I was wondering what happened between 2011 and now where your described this guy I think you are referring to as a great guy and I hope that if there is anything to your latest post that you would actually follow through with it and elaborate more on it.
I joined reddit more than 14 years ago, before subreddits, when it was written in lisp and top posts were Paul graham essays and Joel on software. Today HN is the place for this kind of content. When digg died there was a fear what their user base would turn the site into. I have no issues with the design but probably because I’m mainly on my mobile. What did change for me though was the amount of toxic people in almost every subreddit I frequent.
My bet is that both Denmark and Sweden and other places that got these high numbers used tests that were both giving false positives eg by cross reaction to common cold corona viruses. We have seen this with early tests and as much as 20% of the population might have had just one of these 4 common ones. A Swedish study noticed this but didn’t get into the details and was essentially a bad study as it still concluded tests were 99%+ accurate. WHO was asked the other day if they had comments on these studies but all they had to say was diplomatic that they could help with input to make sure studies were performed correctly.
Let’s see the research and judge by then. I’ve seen published study from Uppsala that tested and confirmed antibody tests with high degree of accuracy 99%+, but had 1 false positive related to cross reaction to another corona virus but they had no details on the sample input or the kind of corona virus is cross reacted with, and hence no way of knowing the accuracy. Lots of bad science being performed these days so I’ll be skeptical until I read the results myself.
Depends on who you ask. I’ve yet to see a study on this. I work as a consultant in a Swedish company and several of my colleagues stopped traveling to clients and insisted on working from home even before most countries shut down. This is now the policy for the entire company. Even if you don’t have an official lockdown many take their own precautions. Personally I’m not worried myself right now because of the precautions people take, but with more people relaxing and risk of more spread i do worry about the future and will probably have to do less of what I do now to reduce risk to people around me.
You think it pushes the world towards a global recession. I think a hard lockdown and a co trolled opening is what gets it out of one faster. At least that is what we can see studying history in 1918. Eg Denver vs Philadelphia. Scared people are bad consumers. In reality we don’t really know which strategy is the best.

And yet very sick patients are already being placed in field hospitals with no running water, laying too close, poor air circulation and on old ventilators which have received criticism from the doctors there.
