I used to do that, but with Amazon I can usually just pay for the new season as it comes out. So that's what I do with shows I watch weekly (pretty much just always sunny at this point). This is if I can't get them already with Hulu/HBO Now/whatever.
It's more about convenience than cost. I've even considered getting cable but with the ads and the fact that my provider is very expensive (unless you bundle internet, not happening) it's not worth it.

Permanent residents should be allowed to purchase. Visa holders should be at least allowed to purchase a primary home to live in. Forcing them to sell if they move might be a good plan, I don't know.
Although frankly the post lost me at "define local and foreigner". Sure, you can quibble about whether foreigners should include permanent residents. The meaning is still obvious from context, and very obvious to anyone familiar with Vancouver.

A friend an I built a ray tracer as a project for school. Found all the math in a book online.
We just did some simple scenes, but it was pretty wicked seeing a sphere lit nicely with a shadow that made sense. I've thought loads of times about picking this up again as a side project.
Last time I got a filling done the dentist gave me the local, but it just wasn't effective. He gave me a couple extra doses to get things numb enough and it was bearable pain. I can't imagine how horrible it would have been without anything. That dentist sounds like an ignorant monster.
Oh, and after my face was super numb because I had so much of anesthetic. It just took a while to really kcik in.
1. It's a direct response to the idea that Trump won a landslide. The election was actually close by electoral college standards, and losing the popular vote shows he was far from the mandate a landslide suggests.
2. It's evidence that the electoral college system is flawed, and starting to become a problem. 2000 and 2016 are the only 2 elections since before 1900 where the popular vote didn't end up matching the election. This is a problem, and should be talked about.
