I have very little knowledge of quantum physics, but in my mind there is some similarity between quantum phenomena and backward raytracing in computer graphics.
In forward raytracing, images are rendered by "shooting" photons from all lightsources and seeing which ones end up hitting the player's camera. This is similar to what we think happens in nature, but the calculation is extremely inefficient, because the vast majority of photons never hit the player's viewpoint.
In backward raytracing, we only shoot "photons" backwards from the player's camera, and see which rays end up hitting a light source. This computation is much more efficient.
It makes me wonder if our "simulation" uses a similar shortcut
It always seems weird to me how people think of inflation as a single number, when it is made of made of many different components, some prices might be going down or constant, while others are rising. Energy prices rising are definitely the most impactful ones cause they affect every sector.

I had a similar idea as a kid, I was pissed at all the bloat consuming my cpu and ram on windows so I wanted to build my own os that would run a single app taking advantage of 100% of the hardware. I learned some assembly and managed to create a bootable floppy disk, then quickly gave up, realizing how much work a functioning os would take...
Meh, as an italian i find the quality of fanpage journalism to be pretty low. It's mostly clickbait and "let's send a leftist to a right-wing protest and see if they get beaten up or catch somebody doing nazi salutes".
I'm still happy they exist and are succeeding, but i feel that real investigative jouranlism is dying in Italy. With the fall of newspaper sales most outlets are just incentivized to publish low quality clickbait, or government propaganda if they live off of government grants.
I've attended some scientific conferences in cuba in the medical field and i can tell you while the country is extremely poor, they are very advanced in the medical field. Cuba has the highest number of doctors per capita of any country and university-level education in the medical field is basically free so it is accessible to a wide percentage of the population.
Pretty sure i had this after my second dose of moderna. On the day of my second dose I had a very unique piercing heart pain i never experienced before, thought i was gonna die. Had some arrhythmia/palpitations as well, but didn't go to the doctor or report it, I'm sure many more people experienced this without reporting it, just hope it doesn't cause permanent damage.
