I think this is some already being looked at in some aging societies. Look at Japan and even China where they have a lack of nursing personnel. They are looking at the humanoid robot hype with a keen eye for supporting people in the future.
And there are likely many other research being done with emphasis on these societies that could show us problems that need solutions.
Ah. That might be it... Anyhow after staring at that chess challenge I was sure to get a mate in two moves with the Qh6 but the captcha filled with numbers plus the add to 25 left me with only 3 to spare... So no way am I winning this game.
This turns into a mildly frustrating riddle as some of the challenges are random (captcha, Street View, chess challenge) and end up making it impossible to continue. Got my number added up from the captcha and the best chess move came to be Qh6 (I would need a chess master to disagree with me) so I'm already busted on the add to 25 and then it tells me the "Qh6" notation is illegal (Ok, I was never good with chess notation but I'm pretty sure that says Queen to H6...)
As a added point, the system in Norway was fully open up to a few years back.
They have since changed it in a way that you need to login to lookup other people income and the person in cause then gets notified of whom looked it up. So that typically could end up in an ackward look from/towards your neighbors .

This together with the freenode main page/blog (a very defensive one side view of the occurrences) leads to understand the freenode infrastructure/entity is compromised.
I see this as turning into a worst case scenario of a free service that gets taken over and you can no longer trust it to secure your data.

Several times over the course of 20 years is not that bad. I'm guessing he wouldn't be buying it every 2 years (like common appliances that break apart right after guarantee period).
This uses the same flow as many transportation cards (which in some countries can also be used to purchase goods).
Essentially the card chip holds the debit amount it has (the user makes an initial transaction to load it, debiting the money from a debit/credit card or paying for directly with money) so that every time a transaction occurs, the value in card is altered directly.
This system also has the potential of making transactions fully anonymous as no-one needs to know who the holder of the card is or where he spends his money.
I live in Norway and a member of a union for engineering (broad branches thought) and this is also a kind of statistical analysis they do every year on their 81500 members. They take in consideration the experience years and different fields, as well as public vs private sector. They have improved quite a bit in the last few years on the metrics they present but I don't think geographic metrics have been shown as there are only a couple of big cities where population is concentrated.
yes, I think I had the same type of clauses (haven't read my contract in a long time) So I did clear out that with my current (to be at the time) direct manager and that was the consensus.
So my advice for the original question would be to clear that with the (future) manager on what those clauses do indeed mean. And I don't feel that question is endangering getting the job in any way... I feel nowadays many people have side projects that they have not intention of relinquishing of its rights even if nothing more that a side hobby. So managers are probably asked those question all the time.
PS: But I wouldn't go straight the manager and state that I'm planing on start my own business wight at the same time I start working for him... That probably raises the flag that you will not be 100% committed and might leave in a short period. I would just bring it up as "side projects".
A while back because of shifting mobiles a lot ( due to repairing my mobile and also having a temporary replacement) I ended up making a rudimentary program to store shows codes and even qrcodes for reading from the mobile working in my Linux terminal.

got 2 CHIPs (although I think I only ordered one) one of then was faulty... the other I'm a bit unsatisfied. although I did not managed to have the time to play much with it, I get some noise/static sound coming out of the audio jack as processes are run (I'm typing or running commands in the bash ).
Video quality is deplorable...
the PIs are still very sturdy and cool machines... worth the pennies.
