I'm working on free addon for storybook. It would enable designers and develepors to quickly review which design tokens from your collection is used in a particular component. Initially I will only support css modules and theme file where all your design token lives. I would like to hear from you, if there is any interest in something like this... Feedback is welcome. I really don’t get why there’s always this group of people who feel the need to constantly manage everything for others—like sysadmins, for example. Sure, there are valid scenarios where management makes sense, like printing or shared drives, but most of the stuff is just over the top. As a developer, I’m sick of all the constant restrictions—broken VPNs, stealth monitoring, and antivirus software that slows everything down. These "security measures" are supposed to help, but they just kill performance and cause frustration. At the end of the day, I just want my system to work smoothly without constant interference.

Oh this bring back memories. As during communist era, there were no extra money or even stores where to buy. So we copied casettes. First load game then save on blank cassete. This worked for almost all games, but one. That one instead of waiting for run or save command, started game immediately. So only way to copy was using double decker. But most of double deckers were shitty. Adding so much noise, that copy didn’t work. I remember visiting one friend that has high quality deck, that was able to make a workable copy.
I'm not stock expert (but bought 80 shares of Nvidia yesterday). My rationale is, that if DeepSeek lowered barier for entry into AI model development, actually more companies can afford to join. Yes, big dogs may require less cards with efficient algorithms, but to me, more companies = more cards needed.
I have M1 Air with 16 gigs of RAM. This is my 3rd Air in row. I had even one with the crapy butterfly keyboard. But this M1 is beast from another realm. For my daily development I have to use PC with 11gen Intel i5. But sometimes I pull work to this Air aswell. Always suprised how much faster the compilation step is. Basically instant for this project. Presing Enter and bum code compiled. On PC i have to wait several seconds, up to 10.
Thanks. Sure, I had own domain for a year, made promotion on Facebook. This product was not developed with other countries in mind. Idea was to do pilot in my own country and then scale up. Every country has different invoicing rules, so it cannot be just translated to English and put on US market. But since it didn't attract any single customer, I just gave up as my previous experience was that adding features when there is no traction for MVP just prolong your suffering.
I feel your frustration about business not going as envisioned. My current failure rate is two failed attempts to build profitable busines. Actually the second project is similar to yours. Invoice app for small entrepreneurs. Till today I'm the only user of the app. To reduce costs, I made it run completely without server support, all data is stored in local storage and hosted on netlify for free (no own domain). https://moja--fakturazdarma.netlify.app/. It was nice challenge for me to make it work completely without any backend (generation of pdfs using pdfmake, generating qrcodes and lzma compression ...) I still use it for main own invoicing and use to in my resume as work reference, but with zero money income.
The only problem with DaVinci on Linux was no builin mp4 codec. So you had the convert mp4 videos to some format and only then you could use it in DaVinci. Windows nor macOS version doesn't had this limitation. It was DaVinci 15 or 16. Not sure if this changed already.
I would never hire part-time developer once again. I did once and burned heavily. That guy had own startup. For few months it worked to some degree (because he was hungry for cash). But afterwhile, his mind and focus was back to his own startup. Hi performance dropped significantly and he just use us to fund his business and used our hardware to test his app.
the difference is the distribution channel. For cordova you still need to use Apple store and pay yearly and share your income with Apple. With PWA, the distribution channel is web, so no commissions for Apple.
