Hi, ewm author here.

Lagging is super annoying, and regretfully it comes mostly from very slow pgtk cairo implementation.

I'm getting the Skia branch to a usable shape this week. A bit too early to say, but the approach looks promising. Running it for almost a week with a 4k 120hz external monitor, no issues noticed so far.

Hi! Around 15 years in the IT industry, focusing on back-end development, infrastructure and data pipelines. In recent months I focused on writing a data-intensive Rust web service based on axum for an Oil&Gas giant.

I have a unique experience in building Nix-based mono-repositories and running production systems based on NixOS at scale.

Extensive experience with Kubernetes for services and job scheduling, auto-scaled node-pools, and distributed data processing.

6 years of university education in discrete math and databases. Mostly fond of functional programming (F#, Rust, Haskell), but not dogmatic about it.
