In other words - 50% of your parenting influence descends from 4 generations of mixed marriages, and the entire mixed lineage begins approx ~100 years ago where it certainly would be a huge factor in daily life. It's quite
possible that you may have even met the original couple or their immediate children, and very likely that you met or had extended contact with the 25% generation who in turn almost certainly was extremely impacted by the preceding 2 generations.
Pretty sure there is some cultural trace either overtly or in the form of inherited scars.
The reason many mixed don't know much about their fraction is because their ancestors were put in indian schools and married off to anglo settlers or any number of other far worse 'ethnic cleansing' atrocities. Whatever in-depth discussion remained was likely suppressed or downplayed to facilitate assimilation, leaving only hints and impressions behind in the people. At this point there is no way for them to know anything more about their past even if they wanted to.
pretending it's nothing only makes it worse and grows the divide to the past - which itself is a shift away from native views of history and connectedness to ancestors

Used it in a previous ops support gig to build up a mini knowledge base of canned issue responses / topical oneliners - we couldn't install software but could save network drive files; tiddly kept my response system flexible & portable between systems - definitely recommend for this use case

i often hear people comparing cloud vs colo but not including more traditional dedicated hardware rental - seems to me this should be pretty similar, maintenance wise to cloud since H/W is handled by the vendor (just need to monitor hardware faults in addition to OS/app layer & notify DC on issues)

this statement is logically incorrect - if the 'jury is out' on aspertame, when it 'reconvenes' it could discover that it is worse for you than HFCS, and so no, in fact, the prophylactic switching that you speak of would in fact be detrimental.
Anecdotally, I feel much worse on 0cal/diet beverages than HFCS equivalent - the 0cal/diet ones seem much more likely to trigger headaches/inflammation in me, though it could be that I don't "think" i need as much food so I actually let the diet drink facillitate bad nutrition which in turn triggers these things ... probably the real 'safe bet' is to switch away from both regular and diet soft drinks, since HFCS also is not good

as you hint at re. legislation this is heavily dependant on how any transition is structured - a heavy-handed transition would put alot of upward market pressure on new EV's and downward pressure on old ICV's that could create a market niche for conversions - they might not spend "new Mitsubishi Mirage" money on a civic, but they might opt to save 5-10k vs new/slightly used EV for a '15 converted mercedes ...
unsurprising considering how radical their product line revamp has been of late - a ford that doesn't make sedans and an electric SUV "mustang" are pretty big changes for a fairly conservative customer base
True, but tech is not the dominant industry in all areas, and industries needing IT are not strictly limited to tech companies -
blaming education administrators specifically for not having enough funds to pay competitively is drastically different than saying there is a structural problem with the local economy such that only industry X can competitively source IT talent.
in these conversations, comparing tech job X vs other job Y is relevant, because we are talking about 'jobs and wages within local economy as a whole'
agree, but also point out that this argument can be expanded to essentially make all such efforts meaningless - actual security is never captured by these documents, because it is a function of the system itself, and these documents can only by definition point to some aspects of it...
