All the complexity of deciding resulting target temperature and fan speed is work that an elegant and intelligent system should then perform for the end user. If it can't be determined automatically, try harder or add more controls.

It might be different if wages grew at the same rate as inflation, but they rarely do.
The standard target rate of 2% inflation does not take into account the deflationary effects of ever increasing technology / efficiency. So in reality, it's much higher then the 2% stated figures.

X1 owner here. Previously owned the mk3s+. Bambu is your best choice today and really a quantum leap in terms of performance. you will still need to occasionally fuss with things, mostly in terms of optimal slicer settings, but I still get the odd physical failure that requires intervention e.g. filament snapping in the guide tube, object seperating from the sheet misprint, etc.
The AMS has been wonderful for me: no longer manually swapping out filaments, and cool tricks like automatically laying down a layer of easily-removed support filament between model and support structure.
It's a complex topic. Cosmopolitan white Australians generally tend to overcompensate on the virtue posturing front in regards to being pro black rights. Many not actually having ever met an indigenous member of our population. Rural whites tend to be more cynical as they have direct exposure to the effects of rampant alcoholism and crime in many indigenous communities.

A common story that does the rounds is of government provided housing having campfires lit in the living room.
I'd say it's a pretty universal opinion that all gov policy on the matter has been, and still is, ineffective or wasteful. I have no idea how you'd actually legislate effective change here though as it's most certainly not a matter of just throwing more money at the problem.
tldr; furnishing the homeless with intensive, long-term (if needed) support and rapid access to housing leads to good outcomes- both for them and the broader community.
