I've been working on a similar concept (aggregate health data from multiple sources) but on a wider scale:
1) annual bloodwork as part of my annual preventive care;
2) InBody measurements, including grip strength;
3) quality of air in my region;
4) Apple Watch but mainly for steps, sleep data and resting heart rate;
5) allergy panel or minerals/vitamins screen plus something nutrition-related along those lines (TBD).
The idea is to see trends and try to apply AI for correlating, at the first glance, completely unrelated data layers. Example how I'm thinking about this one: there's somewhat clear correlation that I sleep better when I do above average steps per day. How is my sleep quality affected if, let's say, I did above avg steps with a bad air quality at that time? (i.e. wild fires / pollen season / etc.)
I've built a Go application to ingest those data sources and currently finishing my first import use case - Apple Watch data.
I recently helped my friend (3rd country national) to open a new business in Czech Republic.
It took 3 months from registration to sending her first invoice. The longest wait was on the bank account: a very few places are willing to open company account if you don't have an EU residency. Without the bank account, she couldn't deposit founding capital (základní kapitál) which is required to complete the registration. It's even funnier cause the minimum amount to deposit is 1 CZK (5 cents).
Total cost to start business was under $8,000. The most expensive were legal services: writing down all contracts and customer agreements was around ~$5,000.
I feel like this is such an untapped market for getting digitilized. I was thinking to actually sit and vibe code it at some point but can't imagine doing this alone.
When it comes to GUI, I can click faster than I talk. Sometimes typing would be a bit faster as well, in case you need to correct an error. Also, imagine a bunch of people talking all day long in an open space instead of mouse clicking/typing.
Brain to machine signaling interface is the logical step forward if we really want to be faster at input.

Last time I ran SNOW a few years ago, it was slowly but steadily heading into the SAP trajectory - highly-customazible per customer needs, expensive to pay and even more expensive to migrate onto. And it doesn't seem to prioritize any developer-oriented features to appeal to that crowd.
The problem with Jira is that we don't have many alternatives at enterprise level. Maybe for smaller teams (<1000 engineers) something else is at table. It's also interesting neither of FAANG - except for Netflix - are using Jira, they are all on something home-grown AFAIK.
I had a lot of hopes for Github Issues [0] but since they announced the product on last year's Universe event, there were not many news. Maybe this November they will come back with an update.
At this point, I feel Jira is like WordPress. It maybe slow and overbloated, but you can have absolutely any plugin and/or integration you can think of.
Spotify Duo. Works across all the variety of devices we have, jam group sessions are fantastic feature when riding the car together and their weekly discovery consistently brings in a lot of new music.
I owned a basic wordpress site with some guides written during COVID for a couple of popular (at that time) mobile games. It appeared in top 3 searches for the <game name> + <guide/event/best ...> combination.
Ad revenue was around ~$100 per month peaking around ~$150 at the new content drops. I have abandoned the website since, but it still is generating $100 here and there without me actively working on it for the past 2 years.
To the point - yes, there's lot of money if you own a network of similar websites. My competitors were paying $10-30 per guide submitted on their website because a few guides could easily get paid off in a couple of months from ad revenue and keep generating it years afer.
I could write more detailed story if someone's interested.
I rely on laptops provided by corporations I work at, so here's the breakdown of the remaining electronics:
1) samsung s10 (2014) -> iphone 8 (2018) -> iphone 13 mini (2022) -> no replacement planned since Apple dropped mini lineup.
2) gaming pc: amd fx-8350 (2012) -> i7-6700k (2016) -> 7800x3d (2023) -> hopefully no replacement till 2027
3) tablet: nexus 7 (2012) -> galaxy tab s3 (2018) -> ipad pro 2021 (2022) -> unless battery completely dies earlier than in 4 years like it happened with nexus 7 (making it stationary device).
So overall, my update cycle is every 4 years on avg, with PC upgrades having longer cycles thanks to exceptional performance of the chosen platform at the time
I.e. I still have i7-6700k working at another location and delivering strong both for productivity and gaming use cases.
Exactly this in my case, I've also quit after watching the video. My biggest doubt was if it actually is beneficial to consume in small amounts for better health (i.e. a well-known myth about having a glass of red wine is good for your heart) which Andrew dismissed completely.
I would like to bring doctor Peter Attia's perspective on this - which he mentioned on another podcast with Tim - is occassionally drinking something he really enjoys to the point that "if that glass of wine is not good enough, I will pour it down the drain".
So I tried a few times between now and then, even though I enjoyed it, the aftermath of not having even the slightest effect next day - which I got used to when not drinking at all - convinced me to give up this idea.
The social pressure, though, is real. It's like a habbit which everyone is so much used to, that the alternative "world" with no alcohol feels like a non-existant to some people. And if you fire up a conversation why, there's rarely a good reason why they are so attached to this belief.
I just checked Uber from my home to the airport and it’s 17 EUR. If I call yellow cab, price would be 1.5-2x higher and if I imagine a foreigner catching one on the street without the meter - that could get even worse.
I went for 2 weeks abroad with a week vacation and other week working remotely. There was no hotel in the area to provide me with the proper accommodation. But Airbnb did that just fine.
So I don’t necessarily see those services and companies behind as pure evil. I would say the government running behind and reactively setting limitations rather than proactively thinking about the way to move forward is an issue here.
As kids, we learn and mirror behavior of our parents. Over internet we don't see our parents' behavior, so we start mirroring whatever the average behavior is used.
