One of the maxims I live my life by: You are more likely to benefit from not being the first to adopt something new than to be disadvantaged by being second.
It's a tech demo. Let us treat it as one. For faces, skin, and hair (so everything human) I personally dislike the direction. But for environment, props, and especially lighting, it's quite nice!
I too struggled with the keyboard, especially since iOS 26. I then tried to DEACTIVATE ALL keyboard "features", so:
- NO auto-corr
- NO predictive text
- NO check spelling
- NO char preview
- NO feedback
- NO sound
- NO auto-cap
- NO smart punctuation
- NO slide to type
- NO everything
And this ABSOLUTELY solved my problems with the iOS keyboard. Yes, I do mistype from time to time. But that is in no relation to how it was with all those features…
Me too. Unfortunately, it seems Silvio has abandoned further development. There are some truly annoying bugs (YouTube embeds do not work, swipe gestures stopped working, iOS images are slightly cut off,…) :( But I tried all alternatives and can't make the transition after idk, 8 years…

extremly happy customer, i just really hope they live up to their goals, but i have faith.
the only thing i personally struggle with is deleting "google" as a substitute for "search for it on the internet" from my vocabulary. haven't used google search since then, feels weird… maybe it's because in german "kacki" is a childish saying for "shit". so "lass mich das kagin" ("let me kagi that") feels weird too :D but hey, wix (="wank" on german) made the best out of it :D
This summer I finally bought a GoPro to capture our motorcycle tour with my girlfriend – have been thinking about getting one for years but never did. Well, since then we have been on three city trips and I enjoyed recording those. Since then I edited and finished one of them, and it is such a joy.
At least here in Austria it is also legal to publish (without consent) if the people appear in a crowd (many individuals) or if the person (so even just one) acts as a prop in the image/video szene. Another exception is when the created image/szene is considered as "art". In all three cases you loose your rights on your own picture.
Motorcycling is also my go to activity to disconnect my brain from almost all "chatter". It's just the road, the bike and you. As soon as you are an somewhat experienced driver and you can drive "fairly" safe in sailing/flow/cruise mode it's pretty incredible. It's just engaging enough that it feeds the brain with mental work, but does not leave any more room for unimportant "garbage". Took me around three years (around 30.000km) to get to this point.
I have the very strong feeling that this is is powered by https://register.apple.com/placesonmaps/ – at least as a hint. As soon as you have officially registered your Apple Maps entry (with an website URL) that website gets on the list.
e: This is reinforced since we updated our domain/URLs from a ccTLD to a gTLD not long ago, also claiming the Maps entry, and the list reflects the gTLD domain!
