what do you think? If this site helped you find exactly the repo where you could jump in and contribute would that like solve the itch you are trying to scratch?
ask yourself the tough question: why am I trying to make a brand new repo and get people to look at that vs. contributing to an existing repo that already has momentum?
decentralized is a funny thing. people often say they want decentralized and say that’ll be great! No one person/company in charge. But is that what people want? Usually they want some kind of benevolent dictator instead.
the warning is great but they could do more. Like auto remove them when you clone? or an option in settings for that. The fear is someone will send me some cool new AI repo and I'll not see that warning and just clone it and start using it.
"Boeing 787 to lose all AC electrical power due to generator control units simultaneously entering failsafe mode."
The aircraft computer uptime was 248 days. It needed to be rebooted. Yes, it that's stupid of a software bug.
A 2016 Airworthiness Directive requires "repetitive cycling of the airplane's electrical power system."
a Model 787 airplane that has been powered continuously for 248 days can lose all alternating current (AC) electrical power due to the generator control units (GCUs) simultaneously going into failsafe mode. This condition is caused by a software counter internal to the GCUs that will overflow after 248 days of continuous power. We are issuing this AD to prevent loss of all AC electrical power, which could result in loss of control of the airplane.
