Naive question. How does the method in the OpenAI and Stripe flow charts differ from buying from a 3rd party seller on Amazon, which requires no agent? I don’t see what the agent is doing independently in the payment part.
In the 80s and 90s I was positive that customers would revolt over the constant security issues and generally poor quality of Microsoft software. I don’t need to tell you that it did not happen.
That includes -4.8 percentage points from net trade which comes from two sources:
1) Importers getting ahead of tariffs in Jan and Feb.
2) -2.3 percentage points of the net trade deficit estimate was from imported non-monetary gold, because Americans want portable wealth right now.
The thing to be concerned about is that real consumption is up only 0.3% quarter-over-quarter annualized in this estimate. This is two-thirds of GDP. Investment is actually pretty strong, especially equipment (GPU servers).
Right on the heels of claims of accounting irregularities by Hindenburg, Super Micro announced today that they would be filing their annual report late. Very bad look at a minimum, and the stock down 25% today.
The biggest issue is that the model for births/deaths of employers was wrong and over-estimating the number of employers. This accounted for about half the revision.
This also means that the other side of the Jobs Report, the household survey, or CPS, is undercounting employment by ~3 million, but that one never gets revised.
