As big a story as the NSA's data mining seems to be here, it is amazing that the CFPB's actions have not drawn more scrutiny. They are telling you they will be capturing 80% of all credit card transactions next year. This isn't phone meta-data...this is your actual credit card transactions for whatever purpose.

I often see this sentiment...but, ads are clearly effective. Companies pour billions into advertising yearly with significant time and energy spent on understanding the specific ROI of the various campaigns.
Reminds me of the book "Never Eat Lunch Alone". And, to this day, whenever I do happen to eat lunch alone, I feel a slight pang of guilt because of the book.
