You buy x at y store, y store has an ad buy with ShadyAdCo. If you see product x in an ad within z time afterwards, it counts as an influence towards your purchase. ShadyAdCo just made money, and y store can give record numbers.
- TV's are generally low framerate, as much as they'd like to claim 240FPS, it's mostly all 30FPS, with software interpolation to increase the frames.
- Bulk. TV's are solid in higher numbers, justifying the lower price
- Distance from face. Your 60" TV can be two smaller panels "glued" together. Not noticeable from watching distance, but having a monitor so close to your face, you're more likely to notice the millisecond tearing.
Data breach, or not, the data held within Yahoo's walls is, and will be, incredibly valuable to Verizon. Why do large companies buy smaller ones, only to shutter them? Verizon probably won't shutter Yahoo, but it'll drain the life out of the data. Past and future.

It's always been a multi-decade cleanup project, but recently the estimates were pushed further into the future (~40 years). Also, the last article I'd read puts it at ~$180 billion. I can easily see that double before the end.
Interesting project, but any reason you went for a nodejs build of jekyll? Jekyll doesn't require sudo for npm, doesn't require dependences, like nodejs in the first place, and would require very little setup. Even something like octopress could have been used better here.
Interesting. Can I ask how and when you start writing down a piece of knowledge? Have you hit times when you've missed inputting some knowledge, purely because you've been engrossed in whatever task it is.
I've attempted this sort of thing multiple times, with varying results. More often that not, I'll end up getting frustrated with missing a piece, after being either too busy or on a tight deadline.
