I am a college student who recently got a job as a software developer. Just like any other guy looking to land his first software developer job, I went through the grind of practicing leetcode and taking notes to be interview ready.
In that process, I ended up creating flashcards for myself that covers essential concepts asked in an interview. I penned down stuff like Time complexity to several algorithms, and a summary of how some underlying structure of data structures like hash tables, linked lists, trees, etc functions.
I found them valuable during my coding interview prep.
Paul Grahm mentioned in one of his essays that the best validation of the product is people paying for it. So, I’ve set up a website where users can preorder to get these flashcards.
My goal is to touch 75 pre-orders! Right now, I'm at 27. If I could reach my goal then I could very well be on my way to print and sell it as a real product.
This is something I built to scratch my itch and I feel there could be many like me who would find this helpful.
I'm a recent CS grad, and over the past few months, I’ve been collecting resources like videos, websites, and taking notes to prepare for coding interviews. While diligently preparing for coding interviews, I created an 8 weeks study guide curated of important data structure and JavaScript fundamental resources which helped me in getting an offer recently.
Honestly, this study guide was helpful to know what to study every day and in following a routine for my job search.
Instead of straight-up dumping down the content on the internet, I racked my brains on how to deliver the content in the most effective way possible to ensure the habit of consistency and dedication stays intact during the interview preparation process.
So, after a few discussions with my friends, I ended up converting it into a FREE newsletter.
The idea is to keep reminding the subscribers about what to learn every day along with its resources.
Consider giving it a try if you think this is an approach that can work for you to learn JavaScript.
