parkie·11년 전·discusshey, love the idea, got a copy running; the install was easy as for me. ( on fedora )however, im finding it really laggy. I type something and it takes a good 2-3 seconds for it to appear on the interface.any ideas?also, if you were a fan of terminal based chat wouldn't you opt for something like https://slack.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/201727913-Connec... and then just use Irssi?

parkie·12년 전·discussI use fedora as my primary OS.I Love it, I maintain a few linux ( CentOS ) servers aswell as write alot of node/php/python/ember code that runs on those servers.Advantagesa) flexibility and lightweight natureb) very similar OS to the servers i maintainc) memory usage ( laptop )d) i prefer the package managers.whilst i could perform the majority of my tasks on a mac... i dislike thea) UIb) package managerc) defaults given ( keyboard shortcuts aswell as scrolling ones )d) lack of flexibility(note: i havn't really had a good play on a mac so all my listed disadvantageous would most likely be easy to resolve )
