seems interesting... but there's no detail info about how it works - neither for charity side or shirt buyers side... you force me to have another sign up not knowing the details...
Edit: and after entering the e-mail already you ask to share!? I'm not going to share until I know more about it!
hummm... here at work it says "This Connection is Untrusted / yosee.com uses an invalid security certificate. / The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided."
I'll have to see it at home... (company security manager sits right in front of me :P )
cellphones at school is a bad thing when kids use it to only to text friends that are in the same space (the school), not talking in person and arrange commitments, and abundance of texting ends in empty talks when facing someone, losing sence of important social "skills" needed for life: and that's an important role of schools
would be nice to have a warning message there... unless all the work was done and no client waiting for results, and there is no will to carry on the site by the new owner
no news because maybe a competitor wiping it out? ;)
Recently I've hear Daniel Ek talk about the Spotify birth and business model, it gives you a better ideia of the path Spotify has taken, and answering questions about the differences about music and video services
For me the problem in working on side projects in the morning, is that the motor starts to run, and then it's harder to disconnect my mind when going out to work - at day job.
Of course at night it's harder because we're tired and can easily loose focus, but if not most productive it's easy for me to arrange the time and set more or less half an hour - balancing sleep hours of the week - to end the line of thinking without having to run to the bus to go to work.
New parents - please PLEASE don't only listen to stories of how amazing parenthood is, or you may get the shock of your life (as I did)
that depends on the way your try to see/address the issues - and I believe also the level of stress parents put in. Of course it hard and has many downsides, but I think as it's shown in the article, depends on the way we see things and think about it can produce better results in our personal lifes as parents.
I'm a new father (my son has ~3m) and I started to educate myself and my wife to the times coming, because there are things we can control (not much, but there are some) in ourselfs because it will impact the children the way we act, and we know there will be different stages that we'll need to discover day after day, and many things we cannot predict, but we can prepare: mentally and logistically.
I believe that the main challenge of educate and learn with our children is rich in the ways the article also describe, but very demanding specially because there are lessons that we know as right ones, but that need to be adapted to the "new reality" due to the generation gap.
The share seems a bit odd, since I have to leave the site to read the story, and probably will share it from there (the original site).
Probably it should be visible below the quote, and not only sharing the title and link, but the quote itself (less for twitter 140 chars) because that's what I want to share from your site.
BTW: welcome to 2014 :)
