The thing is, Apple caters to the average user, not too much to specific needs. One example of burst-loads would be compiling code. Also, does watching 4K video lead to thermal throttling these days with hardware accelerated decoding?
I’ve swapped out all of my ubiquiti gear for Mikrotik. Granted, it is not as turn-key and fancy, but it gets the job done a lot better and especially cheaper.

I don’t know if I trust DO as his „successor“, I’ve lost way too much money on their platform for me to consider them trustworthy. And that’s coming from a person who now uses Oracle Cloud.
