I've connection from a tier-1 network in India. It's a 6 mbps dedicated line (a luxury for most) connected with fibre. ping 8.8.8.8 has delay time of ~40 ms. How's that possible considering the calculations given in this article?
Postman works great. The only feature I would like to see added is to somehow easilu swap a base URL in requests. So I have to maintain just one collection per API and not multiple collections for multiple API deployments (production, testing, staging).
PHPStorm is cool. Haven't looked back after switching to it almost an year ago. Worth the money. Plus, they offer discounted licenses for students and open source projects!
Well, you were lucky your parents let you skip out on college. I was kind of forced to do engineering.
