I think humans are curious beings.I don’t think it would stifle innovation. Quite the Contrary, more effort will be spent on useful innovation rather than profit seeking.
Is the article hinting at the timing? Ie Spotify announces layoffs, stock goes up assuming less expenses so higher profit, then CEO decides to quit to take advantage of rise in stock prices?
Something about two quarters consecutive quarters of negative gdp growth was the original definition, it happened, and they said recession means something else.

That’s the issue. I don’t think homes should appreciate in value (less inflation). It causes massive inequity. Houses are depreciating assets too. Just decaying/breaking over time.
Anyone have alternative arguments why TikTok is being banned?
I heard arguments since TikTok doesn’t have public stock that wealthy individuals are losing out. Same with very liberal ideology is on TikTok, with is trying to be controlled.
