Just political speech, not science at all.Science starts with facts and the fact is, the rich pay mearly all US taxes, the poor pay nearly nothing at all. Thus sugesting otherwise is very poos science.
I own a Kindle and indeed some books are made unavailable by the publishers, but fortunatly Amazon let you enter any shipping address so I can order any book I want to read. But its amazing that publishers are trying to enforce geographical bounderies in the e-content market that no longer exists for physical products....

The sovjests tried this, it did not work. Why should it work now? Central planning of inovation just doesn't work. And in a free society its just not the proper role of goverments to force people to give their money money to central planning, as they them selves make much better investments descisions.
Just wonder if the Russian engineers are building structures like these in the Middle East. There were rumours the Saudies had build a whole city underground. It's also known many Russian engineers work on the Iranian nuclear projects...
