I was the first hire at PillPack and with the team right up to the Amazon acquisition. I wore many hats here, I did front and back end development, analytics, financial modeling, operations analytics, project and product management.
PillPack - iOS, full stack (rails-angular), marketing analyst, Platform Engineer, Director of Acquisition and Analytics, Director of Marketing Communications, Email Marketing Specialist.
At PillPack we are on a mission to reinvent pharmacy. We are using technology, design, and a healthy dose of empathy to change the way people think about medicine. Our company is a mixture of healthcare, design, and technology obsessives and we expect you to be pretty enthralled with at least one of those.
Pretty cool - the only people I send letters to are my family so I'd be a little afraid of them recognizing that the letter wasn't written in my (chicken scratch) handwriting. Do you write the letters yourself? I'd recommend adding a screenshot of some sample letters so we can see what the writing looks like.
I'd also recommend letting someone select the letter, enter the message, delivery date, recipient address, etc. before asking for their billing info. It takes too many clicks right now to actually see how the process works.
Right now there are 51 items in the database, I'll be increasing that number throughout the week with the goal of doubling it.
Creating an itemized dumb is also on my to-do list for this week, I'll post something in here and link to it on the wtfnasa page once it's done.
I just put up an alternate to wtfnasa called wtnasa (what the NASA) - http://wtnasa.com/
I hope this is something you would send to your niece with a clean conscience :)
Hi HN, my name is Jacob, I'm the guy that made wtfnasa. Here's my tl;dr reaction to the virality that this project has seen:
wtfnasa was not made to go viral, it was made to be a simple intro to CodeIgniter & a reaction to people upset with NASA, I put ~zero thought into having 'fuck' in the title, it was built in about 10 hours (design, build, data entry, & launch) last Wednesday & Thursday, it had 9 unique visitors as of Friday at noon & right now it has just under 40k.
I'm considering removing the 'f word' based on the loads of kickback I've gotten from it, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks!
This looks a lot like 99lime.com's HTMLkickstart. The js & html for 99Lime's "Select.fancy multiple" is really similar (if not identical) to Chosen's plugin. Did Harvest build 99Lime?
