These are acceptable, but there's enough keystroke lag that using it for coding gets pretty annoying. Editing files locally fixes the most important latency issues.

Back when Phorm was being installed via spyware and included a rootkit, it was the end-user's job to make sure it didn't get installed. Now that ISPs are installing it, it's the government's job to tell ISPs to knock it off. Adjust the age range to be 18-44, and you see that ALL cities are lopsided male below 44. Since there are roughly the same number of men and women out there, how can this possibly be right?

Aha. So this is ACTUALLY a map of when people first marry, and females tend to uniformly marry [and divorce] earlier, versus men who sometimes wait until later. Thank goodness, the map was really starting to worry me.

So it's just supply and demand, and the demand isn't there. Is this because 1) software developers can't imagine actually useful ways to double their CPU consumption every 18 months, or because 2) it's too difficult to code for multiple cores?
I think it's both. Software innovation is heavily web-centric right now, and web applications just don't stress the CPU (on the client side). On the server side, most apps aren't CPU bound, and even if they were, server-side volume can't make up for client-side volume.
