I live in a city in northeastern Brazil where the prevailing winds blow from the sea to the land. From March to May, the air is filled with butterflies, creating a striking natural spectacle. Curiously, these butterflies mostly fly against the wind, heading towards the sea and seemingly aiming for Africa, despite no nearby islands. It's an annual phenomenon that remains a mystery to me... a butterfly on an endless journey.
In my case, I had these spam-invites sent from my G Suite email to my personal Gmail. I could see the emails on the Sent folder.
The weird part is that I had a strong password (1password) + 2-factor on both accounts. I use FF with containers so I only use my email on a container and nowhere else.
I had reviewed all the 3rd party apps and security settings on both accounts and it all looked normal to me. The only issue is that I didn't had the SPF, DMARC and DKIM setup - fixed after it.
Same here. I've had multiple problems with sync. Specially with Notes. I've lost notes, I've had notes duplicated, etc. The best decision I had was to switch to Simplenote.
> Facebook is not a democracy and they can block and censor pretty much any message they like, but now they go on to tell Brazil how it should run its judicial system
Yeah, Facebook is a company - not a country. You can't compare apples to oranges.
Facebook can do whatever it want and people are free to chose to use it service or not. Brazilians had no choice on this case.
Just tested it. I can't leave the Flutter Selector once I open it. Clicking OK or Cancel keeps it. I've tried ESC as well but the selector is still present until I reload the page
We're an EMR software company focused on the Brazilian Market. We're bootstraped and we currently have hundreds of active users. We're looking for an expert in Angular to help us with some key challenges + advices (we initially developed everything in Ruby on Rails, with no front-end JS framework; now we're migrating the front-end to AngularJS). We're looking for probably 5-hour week max.
I really liked Google Photos. The problem is all my pictures are on Apple Photos (on iCloud, not on my mac, and I don't have enough storage to download it all). I would like to transfer it. I hope someone solves my problem.
We are looking for a backend dev (Ruby on Rails) to join us.
Doutore.com is a web app that helps doctors (physicians and dentists) manage their practice. Our target is the Brazilian market. We are a bootstrapped startup and we went from starting to code the MVP to the 1st paying customer in one month.
We are building our company with great friends and we hope that the journey will be a great fun. If you're interested please reach out and share some code samples / links to applications you've built.
This kiteboat is very impressive and powerful. The kite area is 25sqm and you have a lot of powerful wind in SF. I kiteboard in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - where the wind is not so strong and my kite area is only 11sqm.
I wonder what were the decisions involved on choosing 80m flying lines (regular kiteboard is 30m) and only 4 lines instead of 5 lines (safer and easier to relaunch)
