That is so true. I study CS too. I'm a final year student and it's really hard for me to cope with all these writing works and find time on exam preparation. I read about some big news on using nanoparticles for getting rid of cancer. I can't find the article right now but it had to do with nanoparticles which could safely and specifically go to cancer cells and with a certain frequency it would heat up the beads and kill the cancer cell. That was pretty cool, I did a half ass job of explaining it though. Really though, most the stuff I see for nanotechnology is in the field of cancer research.

Like most other web professions, there's a huge variance in quality. We've interviewed many applicants for dev spots that have tons of experience in javascript but can't really describe what this means. Likewise I believe there are a ton a BS "SEO Experts" who watched a view videos vs some who have really taken the time and spent years learning how everything "works" and applying that to your business goals in a way that's both ethical and effective.
