My $400 Bose headphones have worse range than my cheap MPow headphones. Perhaps whatever great thought Bose puts in doesn't result in great products....
One of the advantages startups have is higher risk tolerance than branded megacorporations. Data, customers, brand, employees, law suits, or cynically, human lives.
For a laptop, I see diminishing returns at 3200x1800. That's as low as I'm go. 4k is preferred and now common. I don't need more.
Ironically, almost all phones I look at have more pixels than I need. Laptops are only recently easily available with reasonable pixel density. For a while, common phones had higher resolution (not just density) than laptops.

Does anyone know how I would find a graphics card or set of graphics cards for Ubuntu which supported 5 monitors well, one being 4k?
I also don't want NVidia proprietary drivers due to bugs. They confuse something with monitors versus screens which breaks a lot of things. Nouveau works fine. Haven't tried AMD but I assume it's fine too.
Standard fee is a good idea. It works in Germany. Another idea is to have a portion of legal fees go to offering counsel. If you spend five million on lawyers, I get two and a half million for my lawyers.

Most people on campus think of RMS as a socially awkward crusader for free software. He has a reputation for pushing himself into positions where he's not wanted (e.g. handing out protest fliers at industry talks where MIT wants to maintain good relations, or responding to otherwise unrelated email threads where someone mentions proprietary software).
He had awkward posters on his door, but I've never heard of RMS hitting on people after they've asked him to stop. There's a big gap between "feel uncomfortable" and what you describe.
Most of the good stuff is designed for early childhood professionals, not parents. Parent stuff tends to be plausible sounding nonsense. It's when you have a group of a dozen kids in a preschool that you need stuff that works. Compare levels of order the versus at home. It's a bit of work to adopt but not too much.

Copyrights, patents, and trademarks have clear limits. An overly expansive theory of copyright would be stifling to innovation and free expression.
It was sourced from someone who was liberal about taking legal risks, but I have a hard time seeing what ethical rights were broken. Indeed, the opposite theory is that if we don't exercise out rights, they go away and Google's source is risking litigation to preserve our rights.
The rightsholder here are the artists and their proxies (publishers and agents), not Genius. I wouldn't feel bad of they asked for a takedown or royalties.
