I remember figuring this out when I needed to buy a new key for my Audi and the dealer wanted $200 to program it.

the software's available online, all you need to do is get access to the OBD port and you can make your car trust a new key!
I’m not sure if you are using the qualifier “good” to exclude the nest, but it can work on a two wire system (it can siphon enough power to work without making the relay close)
I was at a financial startup ~ 2012 and remember getting a couple of these to play with. They came in the form of 1U servers (HP I think) running RHEL5 that each needed a public IP that was open to bloomberg. I think the client app was windows only at that time, I wonder how much has changed

I'm surprised to see this is the only comment mentioning leaving a bowl of food out 24/7. This is how it's done at every shelter I have volunteered at (and how I do it at home) - the cats should always have access to water and some form of food. The wet (canned) food is what you have to be more careful with because the cats will compete for it.
actually it's the opposite, you could run a diesel car on gasoline if you wanted (not wise as diesel fuel is actually used as a lubricant in high pressure fuel pumps)
I'm not really qualified here (and if someone is please post) but I've been poking around with the ECU on my 2001 audi and it doesn't seem to have ECC memory either. A section of the AM29F800BB eeprom is used as random-access memory. It seems to stick a couple CRC bits in every line so maybe this is how they're doing it?
Wow, main page 500s and pretty much everything else just fails to load. I wonder what bit the dust, you'd think a full-site failure like this would require a chain of bad things to happen!
Yep, I thought this was general knowledge. Here in the northeast we have "PBA Cards" which can be given out by police to friends/family/donators that you are supposed to hand the officer with your license if you're pulled over.
Although to be honest I've found that just being nice (& maybe driving a real clean volvo) has gotten me out of a speeding ticket every time I've been pulled over
