The comparison is very apt. My mother always says how this current climate in the US reminds her of the Cultural Revolution, and told me on many occasions about how one of her physicist friends got "struggled" against because he had the temerity to claim that the sun had black spots, and it was taken a a veiled criticism against Chairman Mao and the party. It was just a struggle session where he had to wear the dunce cap--no jail time, but I'm sure it was quite a frightful experience.
Not to mention that Rust is a ML based language and not a C based one. I am an OCaml programmer, and was writing significant Rust code in less than a month. It makes me wonder if the author has actually used Rust at all.
In fact, I picked up Rust because the original Rust compiler was written in OCaml!
Cmd-Shift-4 is definitely my most used OSX shortcut.
The Windows equivalent is Ctrl-PrtSrc to copy the entire desktop into the clipboard, or Alt-PrtScr to copy the current selected window into the clipboard. If you want the clipboard saved as a file, open Windows Paint and paste the content of the clipboard, and then save.
If you have OneNote on your machine, Shift-Windows-S will open a snippet tool that behaves much like the Mac Cmd-Shift-4.
It's the Windows 10 LTS branch; Google for "Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB". The LTSB edition will have its feature set be updated semi-annually and ONLY receive critical updates or security fixes in the interim. Updated as Windows 7/8 was, using tools like Config Manager or WSUS, and can block updates.
LTSB also lacks touch support, "modern apps", the app store, and doesn't ship with the Edge browser. The LTSB N edition doesn't even ship with the media player.
$25 MM at $1820 per ton (prompt price on LME) yields about 1170 cubic feet of aluminium. So a 10' x 10' x 12' rectangle of metal. Of course, these things come in standardized ingots... so a bit bigger.
