Although people are saying this isn't that good of a simulation because of all the events that happen so fast together, as the saying goes, "There's always someone who has it worse." Just a simple what-if would be fine for this, and this was well-well done (note the double well :] ). Kudos to the creators. :)
I'm not much of a fan of Techcrunch and their articles (same with Mashable at times; I have my reasons), but this was great. I'll give Techcrunch another shot at my news reading attention just because of this tut. :)
I thought it meant something like "don't be a dick to them just because they're one of the many launches." I mean constructive criticism is always good if you're trying to help them, not make them abandon entrepreneurship and the internet.
The filter on date seems like the comments on Hacker News. Only difference is an occasional link will appear in the feed. Just wondering as to why comments are included in the filter.
This is great. The circle groups and the group chat is awesome. But I'm wondering how many groups you'd be able to create (would there be a limit?) and how the center stage of group chat works? It said in demo that the person talking or the loudest would be center but what if 3+ people hit the same volume level, or if like tinychat, there are multiple people talking? Would love to get a reply from someone in Google+ beta.
