Also, the fact that he literally had to threaten people to force the publication of his "manifesto" says it all to me. [0]
These are all symptoms of the end of 'cheap' money essentially. World's been running on QE for a long time now, and most millennials and Gen Z folks (myself included) haven't seen/lived in a world without QE.
This is all regression toward the mean. The next couple years should be interesting.
It's crazy to realize how brazen Wall Street bankers and Hedge Fund managers are when it comes to asking for taxpayer dollars during distress, while decrying any attempt to add to that taxpayer dollar pool from their billions in earnings when the times are good.

I was a lot more vulnerable to manipulation via propaganda and good PR back when I was a college student, I suppose. Aside from the naïvety of late teens/early 20s.
It's sad really. I used to idolize him so much. I read through all of WaitButWhy's [0] blog post series on Musk back in '15/'16 and loved every bit of it. He literally became my demigod during my undergrad days.
And from all that... to this?
From a much admired and respected 'inventor' to a cringeworthy Twitter 'edgelord.' Just been a crazy ride.
