One of the strangest ironies of my career is that the smartest developers often write the worst code. Their perfect memories enable them to effortlessly work with infinite layers of abstraction and write the most clever solutions imaginable to any problem.
Having just experienced my first "brain rape" from a recent YC grad I concur. The behavior of Amjad is similar to what I experienced interviewing (and apparently performing free consulting) with the company I was just speaking with.
Maybe these situations are not the norm, but they are certainly happening.
Adoption is another logical answer that can be very rewarding. All of us in the family I grew up in were adopted as infants. It's more expensive than birthing your own children but I imagine parents that left their fertile years focused on a career would be able to afford adoption.
That's not referencing hospitalizations among those that have received the vaccine. That's talking about a total reduction in hospital admissions among the general population, many of which had yet to receive a vaccination.

I made an account pretty early on, before the thought had crossed my mind that I might acquire some perceived associations I wouldn't want. I had a silly reason, I just wanted to follow a conspiracy theorist friend of mine that moved there. They're certainly not joking about their theories but I find them hilarious.
After seeing it was back online I figured I would log in and post communist memes until they banned me, but it seems I am unable to login. Looks like their technical problems continue.
Reminder that Parler's claim to be in support of free speech was bogus, as their CEO would personally work alongside a team of volunteers to ban anyone that joined the platform and posted left wing views.
We could also use the solution that's worked before and works now in certain places, build enough housing that housing costs are not artificially and immorally inflated so everyone can afford a modest house, even on low wages.
We have an "internal systems" team at my current company to solve this problem. The product manager for the team knows everyone and keeps tabs on what's being done that could be automated. It's not used to replace people (at least it hasn't been yet) rather it's used to allow the team to stay the same size and scale up their operations to meeting the growing business demands.
I think many companies could benefit from a team like this.
There are two justifications, all coming from the Republican side of things. 1) Tax filing being difficult makes people pay more attention to what they pay in taxes. 2) Tax filing being difficult makes people hate taxes, which will make them vote against raising taxes and or supporting socialism.

Exactly. And as many people appear to have turned on Trump online since the election, I've yet to meet someone in person that voted for him that is not a huge fan of him.
Unfortunately, at this point all I see is another piece that won't persuade anyone to leave the cult of Trump. None of this information is at all surprising, but in the eyes of his followers he can do no wrong.
