Good question. It’s been a while since I read it, but iirc things like hunger or fear he says they attributed to specific organs (and provides bits of ancient text to support the idea) - personified voices he reserved for reasoning or inspiration beyond bodily sensation.
This article’s main purpose seems to be to fill the gap you observe:

In the U.K. (at least while I was growing up) we had ‘Bombay mix’[1] which included your version of bhujia.
Bhaji and Pakora seem to be interchangeable in British-Indian cuisine. If the bulk is onion it’s called a bhaji, otherwise pakora.
Halwa is another one that can be wildly different, it seems. Though most parts of the world have their own version I guess, all irresistible but very different.
There’s more than one way to tell the same story. Word choice can colour the reader’s perception subtly. Rhythm and pacing matter. Use of poetic devices and subtext make some tellings of stories much richer than others.
Some writing simply makes you go “Wow, what an amazing sentence” even if the plot is gibberish.
Unfortunately in many places tasks that don’t fix bugs or create features never get assigned. Stupid, but still.
In that case it is good to squeeze in refactorings in the same mental area. Even so, for everyone’s sanity they should be in separate commits and ideally separate reviews, agreed.

To the extent that it may make sense to use file formats that map very closely to in-memory formats, or to duplicate data, even at the cost of file size. If you can stream data faster than you could feasibly decompress it, and if having a flat format is faster than a normalised de-duplicated one, a lot of common sense ideas are inverted.
