Thus matter is very very very slowly "leaving" the black hole. But not because matter inside is making it out, but rather because of some interesting quantum features of the fabric of spacetime.

It appears to me that they did something clever and the wings and tail section look like they are shaped to generate lift if the vehicle is moving forward fast enough. There are two rotors at the back that blow backward rather than downward.
So possible a vertical take off multi-rotor that can then transition to more efficient (and quieter) plane like operation once up to speed.
In NACS the DC and AC pins are the same pins. The car only connects the charge port pins to either the AC/DC charger or to the DC battery after it communicates with the charger and tells the charger what voltage / amps it wants.

If you've used old style satellite internet and then used starlink, you'll know that this is not the same technology. Starlink has latency and bandwidth that doesn't even compare to the companies and satellites you are mentioning.

USB C can charge at 5v, 10v, 20v, etc. When you plug in a device to the charger a hand shake happens between the charger and device and they choose the voltage and amperage that makes sense. A macbook pro can take 100W over USBC but obviously your headphones or phone aren't going to.
I felt the same. In the apollo program literally every step along the way had never been done before, and the problems were solved by smart people putting in good work and the result is that we developed a ton of new technologies and skills as a country.
He seems to be saying: don't try new things, keep in simple and just do what we did 50 years ago again. Keep funding the old aerospace giants (Boeing, Lockheed, ULA, and a hundred different contractor companies) rather than giving money to companies that are developing new technologies. This partially makes sense, since he and his dad and many friends work for those old companies and are probably threatened by the new comers.
