Ive a 270 and never gone much under 7 for espresso. Maybe ill try!
I use an oldschool hand-crank grinder. Can someone recommend a powered one that isn't too expensive? The coffee types I typically make are: turkish, V60, and french press.
This is pretty cool. I run a coffee forum and would love to have something embeddable I can post on my site.
Thanks, glad you like it. We decided not to make it embeddable and instead have exportable versions of the chart. But if you have a compelling use case we could always change that!
I though the Niche could "do it all".
It can, based on the charts. But pretty much everyone knows it's a terrible grinder for brewed coffee. Particle distribution is too high so coffee tends to be quite muddy.
We've updated the Niche Zero chart to show the numbers that go beyond the official ones on the grinder itself
