This is not a giveaway, this is a lottery with the apparent goal of fattening up their facebook visibility.
Either way, I think it's a good deal. I have been convincing my company to get vs2010 since its launch in April, and yet I wait for the bufget to be sanctioned. I want to use Intellitrace so badly!
MS used to be pretty loose with handing out MSDN subscriptions and software, maybe you could simply talk to them and see where it goes?
But does it run on Linux?
