I get the author's point, but it's a bit "light". I enjoyed this article which truly helped me to see other perspective: "The Case Against Travel" which cites great philosophers and writers https://archive.is/OCBJf
Perhaps. My worry is that magazines will be full of AI generated content.
I enjoy reading some very niche magazines and, at the moment, I cannot tell if it's AI generated or not. So, as long as the reader is entertained, magazines will do just fine.
Either that, or we will develop some sort of proof that the content is human generated, not AI.
Strong disagree. I forgot to renew a domain a while ago and contacted their customer support. They asked $150 for a domain renewal. Registered domain somewhere else for $10. Moved away from Hover since then.
Subscribed to Literary review print magazine for 2 reasons. Firstly, it’s like TIL but in print version. Secondly, it’s a relief to read something interesting unrelated to IT on a range of subjects. Every now and again I find a book recommendation that I buy.
I found this magazine by accident in the airport bookstore when flying out of UK, so if you are at the airport in uk give it a go (it’s almost impossible to find a print version in bookstores).
You can make it as useless and as powerful as you want. I have worked on many projects and developers loved it (no joke). But it was down to having it properly setup and using just the bare minimum that enabled to do work. What often happens, is that JIRA "experts" (usually incompetent PMs or Scrum masters) let JIRA dictate your workflow. That's where discontent arises.

Si senior. Same experience with quest 2. It has to be perfectly executed. In the Apple demo the guy was hitting virtual keyboard? If vr misses two keys, I am done with it and back to gaming only.
well apple could use vr + ar to enhance your experience, provided that your partner agrees to that, and that could potentially be a winner's recipe. But you know what's the limitation? You won't see p*rn on apple store, or vision os whatever it will be called.
maintain.... competition will catch up and/or will do it better for a lower cost. It took years for other companies to get close to iphone performance. But now Apple is entering an established market already where fb is throwing big bucks.
