It happened to me as well but in a different direction: i.e adds non library code in a shared library. Another issue I with GPT is that it is chasing too much edge cases/security issues(I.e chasing ghosts).
However this makes it also a strong model because it fixes/solves problems that both Opus and Fable are incapable. In reviews it catches bugs that both Fable and Opus are missing to spot.
To me the “best of both worlds” is to research the problem with GPT sol, create a plan with Fable and dual review it with both Fable and GPT-SOL and implement it with GPT-SOL. You can see in the code reviews how many times both Fable and opus are sloppy and superficial while GPT-SOL just does its due diligence …I had several problems that Fable just gave up and it was GPT that helped it sort it out.
I bet it has something with Dario the drama queen begging the US gov to regulate them(I.e read ask them to put “safety guards” that they already had on hand)
Opus5 is simply not as inteligent as Sol max. To me it looks worse than Opus 4.8 on some tasks. When I say worse I mean mainly superficial. I basically have to teach him how the whole app/framework works before he just jumps doing stupid stuff(I.e adding features already supported but in a different form)
You are right but running Redis or any database without a firewall in 2026 is already a quite bad posture. Now with credentials as well that’s pretty much as bad as it can be.

Then you should make sure you run it with the right privilege and consider it potential rogue so when it gets hacked you don’t have to worry about the blast radius because it’s contained it redis privileges.
If you are in this kind of bug hunting then try Wordpress with credentials and see how far you can go. I am sure you can find several such bugs with or without any AI.
Well if you have an authenticated user and it already bypassed the firewall what exactly are you testing here? These kind of “zero days” pretty pointless. Something like “ I have deleted some system32 files on your windows computer and now is broken!” Even I am already an admin user on the machine.
I call it BS. When you are hitting real scalability issues that the AI can no longer help you are already a successful business. The non technical founder will not know about async message passing but will ask the AI why the site is loading so slowly and sure enough the AI is able to implement caching and various mechanism to improve the performance and observability.
You are hitting a wall when you do novel stuff (I.e a special search engine) but something like Facebook which is more or less a CRUD app is not a problem at all. And this is the case with Today’s AI systems(GPT Sol, Kimi K3 etc).
I can’t imagine what models will be able to do next year, especially the open weights ones that are not nerfed for economic or other reasons(I.e Fable saga)
Indeed that’s the case but most of the programming problems are solved problems and unless you care how things are done someone with less/no knowledge can still make great use of programming to do what it needs to do.
Let’s not pretend you need to be programmer to use AI for programming like mathematicians need to solve math problems. Programming (most of the time)solves real problems rather than abstract constructs.
AI is already good enough to create the next “Facebook”(v1 and maybe v2 as well) without any real programmer. This makes the AI a big enabler and reduces the need for programmers vastly in the early stages of any business.
That being said as more online businesses will flourish these will require actual programmers after they get enough traction so the debate is still on if it will lead to massive layoffs in our industry.
How is not? Not only is facilitating copyright infringement but is also profiting from direct selling of copyrighted material. “Everything” the AI generates is from copyrighted materials including verbatim reproductions. Sora was even more obvious.
If you care about malware you do not plug it into the internet. I think windows computers are pretty mallwareish as well or at least spyware. People who buy Oled buy them because they care about PQ.

Some of you really don’t deserve good things. You should be blocked from using AI on more than one device without paying an additional subscription plan.
