I suggested the Navicat team to put in Redis support in 2020 and they put in a ticket to their Dev team. And in 2023 they added support for Redis and emailing me back saying they did it and released it. I was kinda in disbelief and happy.
But, I love their backup and restore option
I think the Unknown category could be custom standalone devices like Playstation, FireTV, webOS, and Switch which have browsers to make those stats but could be BSD based.
And, I wouldn't exclude ChromeOS also, I thought it's built off of Gentoo Linux.
I'm curious, in London did they cut the fares for subways when they implemented the tolls?
The one thing that has been bothering me about NYC congestion toll is I figured there was be a cut in the fares for subways and rail to entice more riders. But I don't see that mentioned; just for capital projects it seems.
I use PHP with Laravel for my day job and it’s been fun. There’s a learning curve of how things are structured and done but I think it has been rewarding overall.
I think a lot of car manufacturers have gone the path of no physical switches and it's becoming irritating. You shouldn't have to navigate screens to adjust your hvac while driving.
I've played with SQLAlchemy and Django's ORM in the past with Python but as of late I have been taking a liken to Eloquent while working with PHP's Laravel. It's always weird trying an ORM when coming from native SQL but I think eloquent might of found a happy medium as it seems flexible to me.
I had a Dell C400 about 12yrs ago running on P3m. But, it was light and compact but dated back then and running Windows XP. So, I learned how to install back then Gentoo and it ran beautifully. I would of held onto it but the battery wouldn't last and couldn't find a good replacement.
I kinda having the same issue with my Samsung Chromebook XE303C12 today lol. But it's limited by soldered on hardware and I think the display driver is closed source.
Same thing happen here and I like the hybrid model. I really did miss being around my coworkers so this helped but not every function of the office needs to be in person.
Chances are they experienced it there too. But I had an issue like that with Cablevision at 3-4am when they would push out firmware updates to the modem.
