I've used it for years. It's nice, works well. When I do want to read comments, I just click the button in the tool bar to turn them back on, which is simple and convenient.
Might I suggest that instead of linking to the article at theatlantic.com you instead link to the archive.org archive of it? I couldn't visit it due to Cloudflare thinking IPv6 is the devil and then still couldn't read it due to the paywall. Once years ago a coworker set this up with good intentions of evaluating it and it ended up setting up a default automation which sent SNMP queries to a networked photocopier which triggered it to print some diagnostic page repeatedly until it ran out of paper overnight while no one was around. Anecdotal, but amusing to me and it's still the first thing that comes to mind when I see this product.
I have some M910q that I am very happy with. UEFI is well supported, I was able to upgrade them to 32gb of RAM, i7 7700t and both a 512gb SSD and NVMe for mirrored storage. Highly recommended. Sure, it would be nice to get something newer than 7th gen, but it's still highly capable, small, quiet and fairly low power usage.
