I challenge you to find a pirated copy of IEC 61362 "Guide to specification of hydraulic turbine governing systems" online. It does not exist. The company I used to work for, which specialized in turbine governing systems costing millions of dollars, would not pay the $300 for that document.
i have a pihole and have been worried that DoH would break it. i checked the network settings in firefox and the DoH setting is there but it is disabled.
I doubt that chrome will allow one to disable DoH but at least firefox does for now.

how can any engineer or inspector know that what they can see from a surface inspection means a building is about to collapse? How many buildings do they inspect with damage that don't collapse? all of them until this one. So when they see damage they say, this should be repaired, and then when the repair gets underway, maybe people see that it needs more than anticipated, and it all gets fixed. Probably by that point in time the inspector is out of the picture.
There is lots of ag zoned land around me. nobody wants it rezoned to residential as that means more people and most people don't want more people around. People always buy the ag lots cause they are cheap and have low taxes if you have ag activity, and then want to build more housing on them than the zoning allows, because that is lucrative.
just use a septic field instead of the sewer hookup if the county won't play ball. then they can't increase your sewer rates every year.

historians just store time series data and allow you to plot it and cost $30k for a license?
The HMI software suites usually have worse time series plotting and trending analysis than a historian but they allow you to put buttons on the screen to control your process, and come with some type of alarm display system.
