Both problems could be solved with money, but according to the article it seems the giants are refusing to move due to historical relationships (which tesla does not have).
To someone with 0 knowledge of music theory and the desire to learn it, this is kind of useless tbh. You're making a lot of assumptions in this post that aren't very helpful :/
For most IoT applications an increase in bandwidth wouldn't be as beneficial as, for example, a decrease in power usage or an increase in range (without also increasing power usage/complexity/etc).
I hope they start imaging at least parts of the ocean, like the great pacific garbage patch and other areas of particular interest for meteorologists and environmentalists.

There's nothing special about Apple displays that makes them "retina", it's just a (marketing) term they use that denotes a standard for pixel density at a specific distance away from the screen. The point I'm trying to make here is you could have just as easily had a "retina" display on your linux machine, if not better.
