I miswrote. Rotation calculations are represented (in quaternions and in geometric algebra calculations) as a 3D subspace of R^4, with the "extra" dimension accounted for by constraining quaternions to the unit hypersphere.

Rotations do involve magnitudes when interpreted as an axis (2 dimensional manifold embedded in R^3) and a magnitide (0 to 2pi)

ToS aren't signed. They are terms of service, not license agreements.

ToS merely need to be disclosed, and the site cna decline service if you violate the terms. A license agreement may subject you to penalties for violating the agreement.

That does not mean that hte court agreed.

The judges said that CFAA doesn't apply.

In other words, the judges said that LinkedIn couldn't use the US legal system to force HiQ to stop. Judges didn't say that LinkedIn was barred from using technical measures.

The court did allow a preliminary injunction against LinkedIn, due to the possibility of "monopolies" (to be determined in Court later), pending resolution of that latter question.

LinkedIn might still win their claim to their right to block scrapers via technical means.

I'm not anyone's lawyer. These are questions, not answers: GDPR is about collecting data from you, right? If Site X is sending data about you to Facebook, perhaps that's an issue with Site X's GDPR compliance, not Facebook's?

"Affinity for extreme ideas of any kind" maybe a stronger / more common personality trait than "interested in one extreme point in the vector space of ideas".

The metric (Jaccard distance) is symmetric. The assymmetry comes from ranking: JordanPeterson is more special-interest/intense-interest with a narrower more homogenous audience than the_donald, so it probably has more very-similar subreddits to it than the_donald does. the_donald would have more related reddits but with less perfect overlap in membership.

A broader base of people (about 1/4 to 1/2 of the voting age US public) is aware and supportive of Donald Trump and for a wide variety of reasons, and much more than half at at least aware of Donald Trump. Jordan Peterson has a much smaller following, who are interested in him for similar reasons to each other.
